RaceRunner Phaser
The RaceRunner (the name being derived from Crumar’s naming strategy in the 1970s, there were the “Road Runner” and “Road Racer” electric pianos) phaser is an exact re-creation of the “CHORUS” module used in the Crumar Road Racer piano. It was possible to build these modules after a stock of NOS CA3049 OTA chips was purchased. The module uses five of these chips, four for phase shifting and one for the internal LFO. The module is made more useful with a wet/dry mix control, output level control and a modulaton CV input jack.

The main part of the module is only 15 mm deep, but the power jack adds about 5mm.

Here’s an introduction video…another one will be made showcasing the stereo possibilities with two modules.
Specs: Width 50mm (10hp), Depth approx. 15mm (see paragraph above). Further specs will be updated soon.
