PS-2A Power Supply

This is our standard supply, which has a black faceplate to match most of modules we offer. As the name suggests the current capacity is 2 amps on the +12 volt output. The module is quite overbuilt – not only does it use a 12 volt regulator rated at 3 amps output but it has a huge heatsink we make ourselves from bar aluminum. The input is protected from reverse input voltage. Note that the indicator lights are spread across the height of the module so the status of each output is easy to see from a distance.

Specifications: 30mm wide (6hp), 48mm deep; output: +12V 2 amps, -12V 125 ma, +5V 1 amp (with a heatsink or cooling fan- more realistically .5 amp) Each unit ships with a 2400ma 15V, 120/240VAC wall wart power supply.
